오존수, 과산화수소수, 차아염소산소다수

Ozone Gas
공기중에 있는 오존은 농도가 높을 수록 탈색 탈취 살균 소독 작용을 한다. 인체에 대해서는 0.03 ppm 일 때는 피해가 없다. 0.1 ppm 이상이면 피해가 온다.
순수한 산소나 공기중의 산소가 고압 전기 방전을 할 때 생기는 plasma 를 통과하면서 산소 3분자가 오존 2분자로 바뀐다. 오존은 O2 와 O 로 분리되기 쉽고 자유 기 산소 하나는 강한 산화력을 가지고 세균이나 다른 유무기 화합물과 합하려 해서 파괴시키고 만다. 오존은 발생 후 1시간이면 산소로 돌아간다.

물속에 오존을 microbubble 로 용존시켰을 때 Ozonated water 오존수 라 하는데 이것을 먹는 것은 안된다.
오준수로 과일, 채소를 씻거나 하수구등을 살균 소독하거나 빨래, 종이등을 탈색 탈취하는데 이용하는 것이다. 
토양을 살균하거나 개선하는데 이용한다고 하는데 가능성은 있으나 실용성은 의심이 간다. 
과일나무 해충을 죽이는데 이용하는 것은 가능하지만 과일에는 좋을 리 없다고 본다. 껍질에 있는 비타민 씨를 파괴한다.
강한 산화력으로 유무기물 화합물을 만들고 변형시키는 이런 것을 먹다니... 더구나 상용은 절대 안된다.
물은 역시 자연수라야 한다. 공해 없는 아무것도 넣지 않은 자연수를 상용해야 한다.


한 때 과산화수소 H2O2 가 피부상처 살균제로 이용되었었다. 발생기산소가 나와 살균하기 때문이었다. 살균력이 강한 것 처럼 세포도 파괴하므로 상처가 잘 아물지 않고 장기화 되어 치료가 잘 안되었다. 그래서 지금은 과산화수소를 쓰지 않고 다른 살균제를 사용하고 있다. 오존도 발생기산소가 나와 이와 똑 같은 작용을 한다. 따라서 오존수를 인체가 가축의 식수로 사용하는 것을 나는 반대한다.

차아염소산소다 NaOCl (상품명 락스)도 살균 소독 탈취 탈색 작용을 하는 것은 O3, H2O2와 같다.
오존수보다 더 일반적으로 사용하고 있다.

The key potential concerns of ozone in drinking water:

  1. It is a free radical that contributes to cellular damage. 
  2. Some experts believe that ozone damages healthy cells along with unhealthy cells (such as cancer cells).
  3. The oxidants in ozone could contribute to the onset of disease.
  4. It might accelerate aging (just as any oxidant would do).
  5. It is acidifying in the body and thus puts more demand on the the body to pull bicarbonate buffers (i.e., minerals) from other parts of the body (bones, teeth, etc.) in order to keep the blood pH at 7.36 pH.
  6. Breathing in a substantial concentration of ozone is irritating to lung tissue and can be very damaging. With therapies such as ozone showers or even with ozone generators, ozone gas is emitted into the air in varying degrees. Thus, users are cautioned to keep the area well vented.

Why Drink Ozonated Water

 

The method of ozonation is a common technique used to purify water and offers a number of health benefits. 

Most municipal water supplies are contaminated with innumerable pharmaceuticals that are not tested for nor reported.  Ozone water purification is the only process known to eliminate pharmaceuticals from drinking water!

Ozonation Process

The ozonation process can be performed on both oil and water. In this procedure, the molecules of either substance are disrupted by agitation from bubbling or electricity, infusing some of the oxygen molecules with two additional oxygen molecules, creating ozone. Ozonated water is composed of 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom with separate 3 oxygen atoms (or ozone) instead of the normal 2:1 ratio in regular water. Because ozone is unstable, the newly formed bond is only temporary and must be used or preserved no more than 20 minutes after creation to be most effective.

Ozonated water has a clean, fresh taste. This type of water has been shown in a number of scientific studies to kill bacteria and viruses. It has proven effective in killing E. coli, yeast, salmonella and listeria. The biological benefits are a result of the ozone breaking apart creating an single oxygen cell. Ozone adds oxygen to the blood stream and eliminates impurities. Increased oxygen in the brain heightens its function. Ozonated water has been found to convert wastes and toxins to water and carbon dioxide after which they are easily expelled from the body. This is especially essential in neutralizing the effects of harmful toxins.  Ozonated water will assist in toxin elimination and is recommended before and after any treatment including massage therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, spinal touch, etc.  It is also beneficial in assisting in the elimination of toxic chemicals and residual medications from the body.

Ozonated Water Can Help Reduce Sore Muscles after Exercise and Strain

The soreness in muscles after exercise, extensive manipulation and strain can be minimized by drinking ozonated water.

Stephen M. Roth, a professor in the department of kinesiology at the University of Maryland, explains:

As our bodies perform strenuous exercise, we begin to breathe faster as we attempt to shuttle more oxygen to our working muscles. The body prefers to generate most of its energy using aerobic methods, meaning with oxygen. Some circumstances, however, --such as evading the historical saber tooth tiger or lifting heavy weights--require energy production faster than our bodies can adequately deliver oxygen. In those cases, the working muscles generate energy anaerobically. This energy comes from glucose through a process called glycolysis, in which glucose is broken down or metabolized into a substance called pyruvate through a series of steps. When the body has plenty of oxygen, pyruvate is shuttled to an aerobic pathway to be further broken down for more energy. But when oxygen is limited, the body temporarily converts pyruvate into a substance called lactate, which allows glucose breakdown--and thus energy production--to continue. The working muscle cells can continue this type of anaerobic energy production at high rates for one to three minutes, during which time lactate can accumulate to high levels.

A side effect of high lactate levels is an increase in the acidity of the muscle cells, along with disruptions of other metabolites. The same metabolic pathways that permit the breakdown of glucose to energy perform poorly in this acidic environment. on the surface, it seems counterproductive that a working muscle would produce something that would slow its capacity for more work. In reality, this is a natural defense mechanism for the body; it prevents permanent damage during extreme exertion by slowing the key systems needed to maintain muscle contraction. once the body slows down, oxygen becomes available and lactate reverts back to pyruvate, allowing continued aerobic metabolism and energy for the bodys recovery from the strenuous event.

Given that delayed-onset muscle soreness in response to extreme exercise is so common, exercise physiologists are actively researching the potential role for anti-inflammatory drugs and other supplements in the prevention and treatment of such muscle soreness, but no conclusive recommendations are currently available. Although anti-inflammatory drugs do appear to reduce the muscle soreness--a good thing--they may slow the ability of the muscle to repair the damage, which may have negative consequences for muscle function in the weeks following the strenuous event.3
