Location Services for Facebook

How do I turn on Location Services for Facebook?

Location Services for Facebook are only available on an iPhone, iPad or Android.

To turn on Location Services for Facebook on an iPhone:

1. Tap .
2. Scroll down, tap Settings and select Account Settings.
3. Under Your Device Settings, tap Location to enter your phone's location settings.
4. Tap Privacy.
5. Select Location Services.
6. Tap  near Location Services to turn it on. If you see , then locations services are turned on.
7. Scroll through the list of apps at the bottom, tap Facebook and select While Using the App orAlways.

 

To turn on Location Services for Facebook on an iPad:

1. Go to your device's desktop.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Privacy.
4. Select Location Services.
5. Tap  near Location Services to turn it on. If you see , then locations services are turned on.
6. Scroll through the list of apps at the bottom, tap Facebook and select While Using the App orAlways.

 

To turn on Location Services for Facebook on an Android:

1. Tap 
2. Scroll down and tap Account Settings
3. Tap Location
4. Tap Location Services to enter your phone's location settings
5. Turn on Location Services for Facebook

Note: You'll have to restart your Facebook app for the changes to take full effect.
